FACILITIES
At the Friedman — MTC's Subscriber
Services office is located on the lower level of the theatre.
Restrooms, concessions and coat lockers are located in the lower-level
lounge and the mezzanine-level lounge. Pay phones are located in the subscriber
lounge on the lower level. Elevators service all floors of the theatre,
from the lower lounge to the upper mezzanine. Eating and drinking are
only permitted in the theatre lounges. Smoking is prohibited inside all
areas of the Friedman. The use of cameras, cellular phones or any type
of audio or video equipment is also prohibited.
At New York City Center — MTC’s Company Representative
has an office in the downstairs lobby at NY City Center, and is available
to take care of any subscriber questions, concerns or problems you might
have before your performance.
Please note, the box office cannot help subscribers with any subscriber
ticketing or questions. Direct all needs to the Company Representative.
Restrooms and a pay phone are located on the first landing of the theatre.
Refreshments can be purchased at the concessions area downstairs in the
lobby before the performance and during intermission. Eating and drinking
are only permitted in the theatre lobby. Smoking is prohibited inside
all areas of NY City Center. The use of cameras or any type of audio or
video equipment is also prohibited.
POLICIES
Volunteer Ushering — To volunteer
usher at the Friedman Theatre, please call the Friedman Theatre Volunteer
Usher line at 212-399-3000, ext. 5463. Volunteers are received on a first
come, first served basis and placement is subject to availability. To
be added to our ushering e-mail list or make requests to usher via e-mail,

To volunteer as an usher for MTC Stage
I and Stage II shows, please call
NY City Center directly at 212-247-0430. Press 0 for the operator and
ask for the Stage I/II house manager’s office. They take calls Tuesdays
thru Fridays after 9:30PM. Do not leave a voice message, as they will
not return calls. Simply keep calling until you get somebody on the phone
and they’ll be happy to schedule you. You can also email them at

Services for People with Disabilities —
Manhattan Theatre Club is fully accessible to people with disabilities
at both the Friedman and NY City Center theatres. Elevator service and
wheelchair locations are also available in all theatres. Infra-red listening
devices are available for the hearing-impaired free of charge at all performances.
Devices can be obtained at the coat room on the east landing at NY City
Center and from an usher in the rear of the orchestra at the Friedman.
When Attending the Theatre — Please disengage all
cellular phones, beepers and watch alarms before the performance. If you
know you may need to be reached during the performance, please leave your
name and seat location with the House Manager upon your arrival at the
theatre.
Late Seating — MTC patrons who arrive late will
be seated at the discretion of the House Manager. Latecomers may not be
seated in their assigned seats until intermission. Manhattan Theatre Club
accepts no liability for inconvenience to latecomers.
