BEAU WILLIMON (Playwright)'s play Farragut North had its world premiere at the Atlantic Theater Company in New York in November 2008 and has since been performed around the country and overseas. It was nominated for two 2008 Outer Critics Circle Awards (Best New Play, John Gassner Award). His screen adaption of the play is currently in development at Warner Brothers. Willimon's play Lower Ninth premiered at the Flea Theater (New York) in February of 2008 after being produced at Arielle Tepper's 2007 Summer Play Festival. It will have is UK premiere this Fall in a Donmar Warehouse production. Beau is a recipient of the Lila Acheson Wallace Juilliard Playwriting Fellowship, two-time winner of the Lincoln Center Le Comte du Nouy Award, the Seymour Brick Memorial Playwriting Prize, winner of the 2005 Dayton Playhouse FutureFest, and was a 2008 Playwright-in-Residence at the Donmar Warehouse in London. Beau is currently working on commissions for Manhattan Theatre Club and the National Theatre of Great Britain. He is a member of the WGA-East and the Dramatists Guild. A resident of Brooklyn, Willimon holds a B.A. from Columbia University and an M.F.A. in playwriting from Columbia University's School of the Arts.

CHAS WILLIMON (Original Music). Chas is a singer/songwriter, instrumentalist and teacher based in Charlotte, North Carolina. He has composed, arranged and performed music for several theatrical productions regionally in the Southeast. Chas also performs and records original music both as a solo act and with several Charlotte-based music groups. Spirit Control is Chas’ first collaboration with his older brother, writer Beau Willimon.
